Sage 300 Project and Job Costing (PJC) is a comprehensive project accounting and costing solution designed to help organizations manage contracts, projects, phases, resources, budgets, costs, billing, and profitability. This course provides a complete end-to-end understanding of how organizations use PJC to control project financial performance and integrate project activities across Sage 300.
Participants will learn how to configure Project and Job Costing, establish contract structures, create and maintain projects and categories, assign resources, process project-related transactions, and manage project lifecycles from estimate through completion. The course also covers Accounts Payable, Purchase Orders, Accounts Receivable, Order Entry, Payroll, General Ledger integration, revenue recognition, retainage processing, analytical reporting, and project profitability analysis.
Through demonstrations, guided exercises, business scenarios, and hands-on workshops, learners will gain practical experience setting up projects, entering transactions, generating billings, tracking costs against estimates, and producing management reports that support informed decision-making.
Upon completion, participants will be able to confidently manage project accounting workflows in Sage 300 Project and Job Costing and apply best practices for project cost control, billing, and financial reporting.
