Course description

This module provides a practical understanding of Employee Information Management in Sage 300 People. Participants will learn how to create and maintain accurate employee records, manage employee movements, capture important personal and employment information, and maintain employee documentation throughout the employee lifecycle.

The training focuses on establishing a reliable and centralized employee database that enables HR and management to access accurate workforce information, improve HR administration, and support informed decision-making.

Participants will work through practical scenarios covering employee onboarding, employment history, qualifications, dependants, contracts, positions, transfers, promotions, and employee exits.

What will i learn?

  • By the end of this module, participants will be able to:
  • • Create and maintain employee master records in Sage 300 People.
  • • Capture and manage employee personal and employment information
  • • Process employee onboarding effectively.
  • • Maintain employment history and employee movements.
  • • Manage dependants and emergency contact information.

Requirements

  • • Participants should have basic computer literacy.
  • • Participants should have basic knowledge of Human Resources and employee administration.
  • • Participants should have access to the Sage 300 People training environment throughout the practical sessions.
  • • You should have the Sample Data installed. The sample data will be provided.
  • • You should have access to a laptop that can run Sage 300 People.
